How does it work?
You will train whilst suspended, either by your hands or feet, generally by one anchor point.
What are the benefits?
The one base of support - the anchor point - will provide you with the ideal mix for strength and mobility, endurance, balance, coordination, flexibility, power and core strength and stability all at once and across a wide range of resistance. Suspension uses gravity and movement to generate neuromuscular responses to changes in body positions. TRX exercises are designed to displace your center of gravity (usually located above your hips along the midline of your body) which activates your core muscles during every exercise .This challenges your nervous system at a high level and maximises the benefits of bodyweight exercises for faster results.
During a TRX training class we move our bodies in 3-D for better performance - the are limitless ways of performing the exercises due to the planes of motion and the angles of motion.
Whom is it for?
Everyone. It is functional training at his best and we adjust the intensity level to allow the exercises to become easier or more difficult within the same group.
Intensity = Resistance + Stability
We adjust the resistance by changing our body angle, using the vector's resistance principle and the stability by changing our starting position and base of support ( i.e. both feet on the floor versus one foot on the floor).
