STUDIO RCT is one of these in Bahrain: the training provider for STOTT PILATES Instructor Education Courses and Workshops. These are designed for Pilates Instructors and Fitness Professionals.

INTENSIVE REFORMER (50 HRS)
Sun to Thu from 2/6 to 13/6/2013 - 2:30pm till 5:30pm and from 16/6 to 27/6/2013 - 2:30pm till 4:30pm
This course teaches how to design and instruct Level 1 (Essential and Intermediate) Reformer workouts in personal or group training settings for a range of clients. While IR may be taken prior to IMP, we recommend completing IMP first. In addition to the general course objectives, you will learn: Effective use of the reformer to enhance torso stability and strength, peripheral extremity conditioning, joint stability, flexibility, balance and coordination; How to develop programs for personal and group classes; Essential, Intermediate, Power workouts; Effective communication and observational skills, verbal cueing and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation; Modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions; Theory and practice of postural analysis; Exercise layering related to effective program design;122 exercises plus multiple modifications; Prerequisites : Working knowledge of functional anatomy; Minimum 30 hours Pilates classes/workouts; Three-plus years teaching movement or fitness. Applicants with a strong of history of Pilates participation and/or experience instructing students/clients in another field may also be considered
Duration : 50 hours instruction and supervised teaching; Minimum 10 hours observation; Minimum 40 hours physical review; Minimum 25 hours practice teaching; CECs 5.0 STOTT PILATES; ACE; Can-Fit-Pro

ADVANCED REFORMER (18 HRS)
Learn to use the various reformer components and accessories to intensify reformer repertoire and provide a stimulating workout for athletes, dancers, and highly conditioned clients. Exercises in the Advanced repertoire require greater strength, stability and flexibility. Also taught: Muscular initiation and sequencing of Advanced-level exercises ; Multiple variations for variety and intensity; 70 exercises
Prerequisites: IR or CMR or GR + XRP
Duration: 18 hours instruction over three days
CECs: 1.8 STOTT PILATES; ACE; Can-Fit-Pro
